Sangria Rosé Popsicles:

I wanted to create a fun and delicious way to cool down on a hot summer day. When I was thinking about possible recipe ideas, the first thing that came to mind was a sangria-based popsicle. Sangria is one of my favorite summertime treats, so it could only get exponentially better when frozen on a stick, right?

Taking inspiration from the Sangria Rosé recipe I shared with you last year, I made a popsicle to match. This is what winning at life looks like: Sangria Rosé Popsicles!

Sidenote: If you need a sangria recipe, I have bunches of them here.

One of the things I love about popsicles is that you can use almost any liquid you love, add a stick, and freeze it, and you’ve got a popsicle. Making popsicles at home might seem complicated or out of reach, but it’s truly that simple.

How to Make Sangria Rosé Popsicles:

To make these Sangria Rosé Popsicles, just combine wine, limoncello, and juice.

I used Notorious Pink, a rosé from France because I’m in love with it. It’s so delicious on its own, so why not turn it into sangria. For my juice, I opted for a Strawberry Lime juice that I picked up at Trader Joe’s. You can use whatever you’d like. Even something as basic as orange juice would be great. Just pick a juice that complements the fruit you’ve chosen.

Add your fruit to the popsicle mold (I use and recommend this one.), pour in the sangria mixture, and add a stick. Freeze until solid. That’s it.

For the fruit, I suggest berries, peaches, and kiwi.

Because these popsicles contain alcohol, they don’t freeze super hard and will melt more quickly than a typical popsicle. So, eat them right after you get them out of the freezer or serve them in a wine glass. Don’t they make for a beautiful presentation? I also think it could be kind of fun to serve them in a glass of wine.
